Carousel Dreams patchwork fabric designed by Cynthia Coulter for Wilmington Prints. The stripe runs the direction of the lengthwise grain. The selvages are on the top and bottom when it is right side up. Each segment measures 11 inches tall and is repeated 4 times between selvages. The section in the photo  is 2 segments.
